Concept & Inspiration

This limited-edition card was created as part of ongoing consultancy with Rudd Resources, whose client is Ventra. Designed for Ventra’s 2024 Halloween release, the concept reimagines a CTA bus filled with classic Halloween characters, merging the everyday function of public transit with a festive, collectible design.

Process

Concept Development: Explored ideas merging transportation themes with Halloween imagery.

Sketches & Drafts: Produced rough layouts to refine composition and character placement.

Illustration & Refinement: Completed in Adobe Illustrator, with careful attention to scale and detail to ensure clarity at card size.

Final Design

The finished illustration balances playful storytelling with functional design, highlighting Ventra’s role in everyday transportation while engaging riders through festive, memorable artwork.
